WHERE TO STAY WHEN VISITING PARIS? HOTEL EIFFEL CAPITOL REVIEW

Sleek, modern and perfect for a romantic getaway, Hotel Eiffel Capitol was an ideal choice for our visit to Paris. When booking a half term break to Paris, I spent hours searching for a decent hotel with a good location that was affordable on my cover teacher wage. This isn’t a big popular chain and at the time, I booked anyway and here is why:

ROOMS

The rooms are well decorated with a sophisticated, modern look. The room isn’t cluttered with lots of furniture, meaning we had plenty of space for our luggage and personal items. The bed was large and comfortable and the room had a long window that gave us that ‘Chic Paris’ view of the surrounding streets and the tip Eiffel Tower in the background.

STAFF

The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to check us in early. The gentleman at the front desk always greeted us and wished us well when entering and leaving the hotel.

Perfect! The hotel is just a 12 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and a 2 minute walk from the Dupleix Metro Station, which can whisk you to all the top attractions of Paris. The area is peaceful and charming, with some lovely Parison restaurants aside your typical fast food places and chic bars.

VALUE

The hotel cost us €112 a night with prices being higher than average because it was half term in the UK. Special offers are available from the hotel’s website and a buffet breakfast option is also offered. For an expensive city, we felt this was good value considering its great location.
